2019 Colours and Your Decor

Unlike the lightness of the Scandi look from the last few years, the new on trend colours are dark and deep, with a traditional English feel. Below are some colours the experts say you need in your home for 2019 and wallpaper suggestions that will accomodate them.

Bordeaux
A strong colour that looks elegant in a stripe or adds depth to a traditional floral pattern.

Green
With many shades on offer, it is easy to find the perfect green for you. A subtle way to add green is through a botanical pattern which gives the benefit of indoor plants too!

Coral

Pantone highlighted this colour palette by announcing Living Coral as their colour of 2019. This trendy colour range incorporates soft pinks through to deep oranges and will liven up any room. Contemporary patterns and florals work well in these colours.

Yellow

Warm up a dark space this winter with this intense colour palette. Offering varying shades from gold to mustard, this colour frequently features in traditional patterns and will add a richness to your interiors.

Natural Hues

Always popular, calming natural colours are not to be overlooked. For something different, use marble wallpaper and add texture as well as depth and colour to your interiors.

Blue

An old time favourite, but this year the shades of teal and petrol stand out. If you want a touch of elegance, add a splash of navy. Be it in traditional or contemporary patterns this colour brings with it a touch of class.

Shades of Grey

For those wanting a touch of drama, charcoal and black can make a real impact. Contemporary patterns work well with these shades and are very popular, especially in kids rooms.
