Our Top 5 Favourite Kids’ Wallpapers

May 3 2017

Here at Luxe Walls, we’re big believers in the fact that even children’s bedrooms can be stylish. As parents ourselves, we recognise the challenges of meeting our desire for chic rooms with whatever trend our kids are most passionate about in the moment. We’ve come to understand that it’s all about balance and compromise, and trying to determine what interests are here to stay, and which are fads.

We’ve collaborated with our stylists to bring you this list of our top 5 favourite kids wallpapers…

1. American Folk Wallpaper

(featured above)

This design is hands-down one of our all time favourite prints for children’s rooms. It’s absolutely full of character and colour, making it the ideal solution to your kids wallpaper needs.

We love the illustrative element of this wallpaper, and its creative vibe. Why not create a feature wall in your child’s room with this print?

2. Whimsical Forest Wallpaper

Feed your child’s imagination with this Whimsical Forest Wallpaper from Luxe Walls. Think fairy gardens, story time adventures and clean woodland air, and you’ll arrive at this exact design.

This mural is perfect for creating a sense of wonder in a kid’s bedroom or playroom. It works well as a featured statement wall, alongside more neutral foundations.

3. 19th Century Map Wallpaper

When it comes to the decor of your child’s bedroom or playroom, there’s an opportunity for education as well. This is one of the many reasons we love incorporating maps into children’s rooms. Whether you go for a vintage or modern design, there is much to be said for the educational value of maps.

Not only do they teach children about geography, but they instil a natural curiosity about the world, which can only be a good thing!

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that they also look incredibly stylish!

4. Little Dinosaurs Wallpaper

Now this one’s definitely for the little ones! Obviously inspired by the gorgeous children’s film The Land Before Time, this adorable dinosaur print is always a popular choice for our customers.

Completely gender-neutral, with neutral colours, this design is a great way to add some character, fun and quirk to your kids bedroom.

5. Pastel Brushstrokes Wallpaper

If you’re looking for something a little more chic for your child’s room, a great compromise is the Pastel Brushstrokes Wallpaper. This has the potential to stand the test of time, while the decor in the room matures.

We often also recommend this print to brighten and soften other interiors. It’s a particularly good option if you’re wary of linking an interior to a specific fad. It still adds a pop of colour and texture, while still remaining understated enough to update and change your decor.
