Transform your home with botanicals

July 17 2019

Plants and greenery are a common staple in many homes. But it’s time to take your greenery obsession to the next level, 2019 is the year of bold and beautiful house plants.

Not only do they look great, but plants also provide some practical benefits. They can help improve the quality of the air and provide a relaxing environment with feelings of positivity.

We’re going to give you some of our favourite ways to transform your home with indoor trees and botanicals.

Swiss cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa)

Hands down one of our favourite plants for inside the house. They love to climb and can reach great heights. They prefer indirect light, warmth and moisture. You should also consider cleaning its leaves with a cloth each week to keep pests at bay. Add this little guy to any room, we love the hallway or a bedroom.

Fiddle leaf (Ficus lyrata)

A fiddle leaf fig will happily live indoors providing it has good light and regular water top-ups. It needs bright light and no drafts. You might consider repotting it every year until it reaches your desired size. We love this one for hallways and dining rooms.

Succulents also make a great houseplant. They’re easy to keep alive, so no stress if you forget to water them every now and again. Make sure they get enough light and water according to the season. We love them on coffee tables and desks.

Botanical Wallpaper

Not forgetting that you can also bring the outside inside with wallpaper. Create a statement area to compliment your house plants, or maybe even instead of your house plants with our extensive botanical range.
