Tailored, Warm, Quietly Confident
Plaid & Check Wallpaper
Plaid has moved out of the country house and into contemporary Australian interiors. Our collection runs from fine tattersall and gingham through to bold tartan and oversized buffalo check, in colourways built for modern rooms — olive, tobacco, dusty blue, chocolate and cream. Structured enough to feel considered, soft enough to live with.
If this is not quite right, look at Japanese & Japandi Wallpaper, Jungle Wallpaper and Kids Wallpaper.

Our plaid collection includes classic tartan, soft gingham, windowpane checks, houndstooth and buffalo check, in neutral, muted and deeper heritage colourways.
Yes. Each panel is printed up to 70 cm wide with a 15 mm overlap and the pattern is matched panel to panel, so the lines continue across the wall when you align the overlap.
Yes. A5 (148 × 209.4 mm) samples are $10 each and the cost is credited back when you order wallpaper within 30 days of receiving it. Checks are worth sampling because scale reads differently on a full wall.
Suitable for well-ventilated bathrooms, powder rooms and laundries, not direct splash zones such as inside a shower, immediately behind a basin tap, or above a cooktop without a splashback.
Plaid suits studies, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms. Smaller checks work well across a whole room, while oversized checks are best kept to one feature wall.
