Question 1

What is peel and stick wallpaper?

Accepted Answer

Peel and stick wallpaper is a self-adhesive removable wallcovering. You simply peel off the backing and apply it directly to your wall — no paste, no water, no mess. Luxe Walls panels are custom printed in Australia and sized to fit your wall exactly.

Question 2

Is it renter-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Luxe Walls peel and stick wallpaper is fully removable and, when applied to properly prepared walls, comes off cleanly without damaging paint or leaving residue. It's the perfect way to transform a rental without breaking your lease.

Question 3

How do I remove it?

Accepted Answer

Start at a top corner and peel slowly downwards at a 45-degree angle. The panel will lift off in one piece. Take your time on warm days — the adhesive releases more easily when slightly warm. No solvents or scraping required.

Question 4

Is it made in Australia?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every Luxe Walls order is custom printed in Australia using water-based inks on a premium self-adhesive wallpaper with a matte finish, then shipped Australia-wide.

Question 5

Can I reposition it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our wallpaper is repositionable during installation. If a panel goes on slightly off, gently peel it back and reapply. We recommend limiting repositioning to two or three times per panel to preserve the adhesive.

Question 6

What surfaces does it work on?

Accepted Answer

Luxe Walls works best on smooth, dry, clean surfaces: painted plasterboard, primed timber, smooth render, and most interior walls painted with a satin or eggshell finish. It's not recommended for heavily textured walls, freshly painted walls (wait at least 4 weeks), or high-humidity areas such as bathrooms with poor ventilation.

Question 7

How long does it last?

Accepted Answer

When installed on a suitable surface, our wallpaper will last for many years. It's designed to be durable enough for everyday family life but easily removable whenever you're ready for a change.

Question 8

What does shipping cost?

Accepted Answer

Shipping is free on wallpaper orders over $250 and $49 flat rate otherwise. A5 samples include free postage. Wallpaper orders are dispatched in 5 to 7 business days.

Question 9

What warranty do you provide?

Accepted Answer

Every order is covered by a 2 year warranty against fading and adhesion failure. If wallpaper arrives damaged or misprinted, email hello@luxewalls.com.au within 14 days of delivery. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Question 10

Do I need professional installation?

Accepted Answer

No. Luxe Walls is designed for confident DIY — most customers install a feature wall in under an hour using our numbered panels and step-by-step guide. If you'd prefer, we also offer professional installation in selected Australian cities; you can book that at checkout.
